Sylvia’s belongings needed sorting out and so Roytook on the task on the ITV soap. Among the possessions, Roy found a valuable ring which he got cleaned up. But last night on Coronation Street, an engraving was found on the inside of the ring. The inscription on the piece of jewellery read: ”R.P 01.03.59 Rhea.

However, Roy didn’t know what it could mean. Although, viewers watching at home have come up with their own ideas that could point to a very interesting turn of events. Could Rhea be the cafe owner’s long-lost sister?

The official ”R.P 01.03.59 Rhea. What could the engraving on Sylvia’s ring mean? #Corrie #Roy #Mary #Chesney #Shona. Fans quickly flocked to respond to the post, with many suggesting it could be lining up a long-lost sibling story for Roy. Roy has a sister that was given away as a baby??” one questioned

A fourth stated: “I reckon a sister who was given up for adoption for what ever reason. She will still be alive and will be coming up to her 60th birthday, born in 59, and Roy will find her….. But will it have a happy ending? I doubt it…”

However, some also theorised it might be tinged with a lot more sadness, and that the potential sibling could’ve died as a child. He had a sibling and the 01.03.59 is the date they were born or the date that the child dies,” one wrote.
