Sinead Tinker is set to be over the moon when she and her husband Daniel Osbourne discover the gender of their baby.
The young couple will find out they are expecting a baby boy in ITV’s Coronation Street and soon tell their family and friends the good news.
Even Ken Barlow, who secretly paid for Sinead’s alternative cancer treatment, is told he is going to have a grandson. However, their high soon turns to a low when tragedy hits Weatherfield and they find out one of their neighbours has passed away.
Sinead will be in pieces when she hears the bad news, as the pair recently bonded over their battle with cancer.
Ultimately, the loss of Steff will have Sinead second guessing whether the alternative treatments she recommended will work for her. Naturally, the factory worker is going to question whether she made the right decision to stop having chemotherapy.
She is likely to debate whether she put her own life and the life of her unborn child at risk by making the choice she did. Steff’s sudden deaith will no doubt strike a chord with Coronation Street viewers, who have been following the story closely.
Actress Katie, who portrays Sinead in the ITV soap, recently spoke about her character’s decision to stop having treatment. Sinead is still avoiding treatment because she fears for the safety of her baby, she doesn’t want her child to come to any harm,” the TV star said.
However, the machinist has been lying to Daniel about having chemo and will eventually confide in an unusual character, instead of her spouse, when she is ready to open up.
Katie, 25, stated: “Sinead feels she must hide it from Daniel because he’s going to think it’s a ridiculous idea. She doesn’t want to make Daniel angry or disappoint him because he cares about her health.
