Putting her sneaky plan in place, Charity lies to Dawn that Ryan is no longer interested in her and there’s no reason for her to stick around. Charity tells her Ryan has learnt of her connection to Connor a gangster who she was working for as a prostittute and to deliver drugs.
The mother also tries to bribe the troubled character to push her to leave, delivering a shock blow buy telling her to get some drugs if she has any money left.
However, Dawn’s life is left hanging in the balance as she buys a bag of heroin and colllapses in the cricket pavilion after an overdose. Viewers will have to tune in to see if Dawn pulls through to tell Ryan and Harriet the truth about how she got into such a state.
Charity could find herself desperately trying to rebuild her relationship with Ryan if he discovers how callous his mother has been. Harriet could also take revenge on Charity, having seen Dawn as a daughter figure when the character was younger.
The vicar has sworn too look after Dawn as in the past, Harriet had had a relationship with Dawn’s father as part of an undercover operation during her time as a police officer.
After Dawn revealed her father died in prison following Harriet’s actions, the vicar felt it was her duty to look out for Dawn. Could Harriet find herself turning against Charity having helped the mother reunite with the son she believed had died at brith.
