Family face another tragedy after burying their two-year-old


When a disaster hits a family once, that is more than enough. However, when it strikes twice, it can leave devastating consequences. The Allen family suffered the loss of their son Brody to cancer. Brody was only two years at the time and had developed tumours that continued to grow in his brain.

His parents were told that he would not last the rest of the year, so the family decided to make the most of it in an attempt to make sure every precious moment with Brody was of happiness and love.

The Allen family were overwhelmed with support by their local community in the small town of Colerain Township, Ohio. Brody’s parents have three children: with Brody being the youngest, McKenzie and their eldest son Andrew.

Brody’s fight with cancer was published all over social media and his journey was touched and felt by millions of Americans. In an attempt to make his last month’s full of happiness, parents Shilo and Todd decided to host Christmas in September with their local community. The local news reported how Brody was so happy and that “It was amazing. Not just for him but for everybody.

Sadly, Brody passed away the next month as announced by his father Todd on Facebook: Good morning. It is with the deepest sadness I want tell you that Brody has lost his fight. This morning at 6 am Brody passed quietly, and peacefully in the arms of his mother Shilo.

He did not suffer. He was surrounded by his family and I have no doubt many angel’s. While our sadness is immeasurable and we will miss his smiling beautiful soul, we are also comforted in knowing that today our son has touched the face of God.

Today heaven welcomed home our little super hero. Fly high little man.. Until we see you again. We love you.

Another Tragedy More tragedy hits the family only a month after Brody passed away as Andrew- Brody’s older brother was left in a critical condition following a car accident.
