Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan has been rushed to hospital after falling sick from an unknown illness.
The 53-year-old took to Instagram to share a selfie from his hospital bed, which saw him looking unwell. It’s not yet known what’s wrong with Piers or what happened to him, but he made sure to put his fans’ minds at ease. He told his 360,000 followers: “Bad news: I’m not dying.
I can only apologise for all the distress I know this will cause some people. He expanded on Twitter, telling his 6.5 million followers: “Bad news… after some extensive hospital tests this morning it appears I’m not going to diee.
I can only apologise for all the upset and offence I know this development will cause. His followers flocked to the comments section to ask what happened and to share their well wishes.
One person even said: “You still look very handsome even though you’re poorly. Another wrote: “Get well soon, need you back on breakfast TV. Please don’t leave us alone with wishy washy presenters. Luckily, Piers’ trip to hospital didn’t affect today’s Good Morning Britain, as he never presents on Fridays.
In fact, Piers has it quite easy as he only presents the early morning show on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. And that’s when it isn’t the school holidays of course, as he has weeks off during them.
Fans are now joking it could be linked to Greggs’ vegan sausage roll, as he pretended to throw up after trying it on air this week.
