I’M A CELEBRITY… GET ME OUT OF HERE! 2018 contestant Anne Hegerty is a hugely popular quizzer, also known as The Governess, on ITV’s The Chase, voted the favourite chaser by Express.co.uk readers.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Anne Hegerty revealed a few more secrets about The Chase, presented by Bradley Walsh, during tonight’s episode in the Australian jungle.

Anne’s new cheeky revelations came as Emily Atack and John Barrowman were lying together on a hammock and came up with a heart-shaped handshake.

Anne was watching them and revealed the chasers also have a secret handshake ritual that they perform backstage before a final chase. The 60-year-old explained: “There’s a thing the Chasers do before the final chase, we all put out hands in [on top of each other] and go, ‘batter them’!

John, who is currently in hospital after spraining his ankle and being rushed for an x-ray, remarked: “That’s not unfriendly at all is it?”

Anne then insisted: “We want to win, we want to beat the contestants! John asked how often the chasers lose, with Anne revealing: “About one time in four. Emily also questioned whether Anne ever felt bad for winning when people lose the jackpot money.
