I’m A Celebrity 2018: Former winner drops behind the scenes secrets ahead of new line-up

I’M A CELEBRITY… GET ME OUT OF HERE! is just around the corner and ahead of the new line-up taking part in more gruesome Bushtucker Trials, former king, Christopher Biggins, has revealed a few behind the scenes secrets.

With just over a week until I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2018 hits television screens, a former jungle king has revealed a few behind-the-scenes secrets.

Christopher Biggins, who won the 2007 series, joined Lorraine earlier today and gave viewers an insight into what this year’s campmates will be getting up to this week. With still no confirmation from ITV about the full line-up, the chosen celebrities who have signed up will be spending this week preparing themselves for the big launch.

The contestants have no idea who else is going into the jungle, they are all kept apart and have “no idea what is going on” until they enter. They should be packing and making their way out,” Christopher began. “I’ve never known a more extraordinary show.

You will arrive separately, are given a minder and never see anybody, so you have no idea what is going on. There are 500 people involved in making the show and 150 cameras so you can’t do anything. They see it all – except the dunny!” And Lorraine added: “No one wants to see that frankly.

The panto star also revealed how the celebrities have absolutely no contact with the outside world, apart from the odd letter, which provides the ultimate shock for when the celebrities are voted off and sent home.

As for the rumoured line-up, the actor discussed who he would like to see take part. The Chase’s Anne Heggerty has supposedly signed up and Christopher said she would be “marvellous”.

On speculation of Strictly Come Dancing 2018 contestant Seann Walsh going in, he commented: “He would be very good as I think they [show bosses] think there would be a relationship going on somewhere.
