Good Morning Britain has confirmed that Piers Morgan will return to the ITV show following his health scare. The 53-year-old revealed that he had been rushed to hospital on Friday morning due to a mystery illness.
He took to his official Instagram page to tell his 360,000 followers about his trip to the medic. Piers uploaded a selfie to his account showing himself looking worse for wear with a tube up his nose.
hilariously wrote to fans: “Bad news: I’m not dying. I can only apologise for all the distress I know this will cause some people. The ITV show that he hosts alongside Susanna Reid has now revealed that he’ll be back on screens as soon as Monday morning.

The insider went on to claim that Piers will give viewers an update on his health during Monday’s show.
Piers’ hospital dash comes at the end of a turbulent week for the controversial telly figure.
